Simple, real-life ideas for your hair, your nails, and the home you come back to every day.
I’ll be honest with you. Femorias started because I was tired of feeling like I needed a stylist, an interior designer, and a spare few hundred dollars just to feel good about my hair, my hands, and my house. None of that turned out to be true.
Over the years I worked out that the things that actually move the needle are usually small. A haircut that suits your face instead of fighting it. A corner of the living room that finally feels like yours. Nails that stop peeling because you swapped one little habit. That’s the stuff I write about here.
What you’ll find around here
Three things I can’t stop thinking about.
Hairstyles
Everyday looks, braids for special days, and cuts that flatter whether your hair is short, long, or awkwardly in between.
Home Decor
Budget-friendly and often renter-friendly ideas, because I’ve spent years in places where I couldn’t paint a wall or drill anything.
Nails
Care, color, and the unglamorous truth about why they break, plus the small habits that have kept mine healthier.
A bit About Me
I’ve been writing about beauty and home for a little over six years now. I’m not a celebrity stylist and I definitely don’t live in a magazine house — and honestly, I think that’s exactly why the advice here tends to actually work. Everything comes from real trial and error, in a real home, on a normal budget. If something flopped, I’ll tell you. If something surprised me, you’ll hear about that too.
I won’t ever talk you into a fussy ten-step routine or a product you don’t need. I’d rather hand you one good idea and let you try it whenever you’re ready.
